Daffy’s Celebrates 50 Years with Cake Walk
NEW YORK, September 22, 2011 – Sure, you can have your cake and eat it, too. But you can also walk all over it. That’s what retailer Daffy’s did today at NYC’s Greeley Square Park, where a high-end fashion show had models walking on a 10′ tall birthday cake. The venue was packed as the models entered to the sounds of DJ Adam B. As they stepped from the more traditional runway thrust, their heels sank into the multi-layered cake that formed a circular path in front of the audience. Guests were also treated to cake at the Daffy’s store nearby. Eventage produced the event for Daffy’s in collaboration with Alliance.
